API & Systems Design
Designing robust APIs, microservices, and distributed systems that are maintainable, well-documented, and built for scale.
Cloud & DevOps
Deploying and managing infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and infrastructure as code.
Collaboration & Delivery
Working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to ship high-quality software that meets user needs and business goals.
Experience
Full Stack Engineer
- Delivered the pub+ Footy Tipping initiative end-to-end across Flutter, .NET/C# and Azure cloud technologies.
- Led the technical design of the initiative, producing comprehensive sequence diagrams, database schemas, OpenAPI specifications and documentation that was essential to the project's success.
- Drove measurable business impact; 30,000+ users engaged at launch, exceeding business expectations and contributing to a 14% increase in user spend month-on-month.
Mobile Apps Engineer
- Helped ship the initial release of the pub+ Flutter app as a member of the core product team.
- Drove iteration by engaging with users while fulfilling a support role; reduced app load times, improved session stability and guided UX improvements.
- Implemented a range of new features and supported multiple successful business initiatives.
Software Engineer
- Developed the MILKRUN Flutter app (utilising Riverpod, Freezed, MVVM, Ferry, REST, CLEAN) with a range of features, including Market, Recipes, Post Order Feedback, Live Chat, Product Suggestions, and Product Sorting.
- Contributed to the backend in a full stack capacity using TypeScript, NodeJS, tRPC, PostgreSQL and MongoDB to deliver features end-to-end.
- Operating in a fast-paced environment where user feedback and weekly delivery velocity were key to the business, I consistently shipped high-quality features that helped position MILKRUN as an agile, market-responsive product.
Technical Specialist
- Developed and tested the Credit24 app (available on Android/iOS) using Flutter (built using RESTful API's, MVC and BLoC architecture) within a team of two which enabled easy-to-use self-service functionality for Credit24's customers.
- Designed and deployed an automated Statement of Account tool that eliminated 20–40 hours of weekly manual operations, drastically reducing internal overhead and accelerating customer support response times.
Data and Technical Support Specialist
- Used Python, MySQL and Excel to perform data analysis and deliver BAU reporting, empowering management with insights and information.
- Supported the delivery of a "Fast Track" application triage system involving business analysis, scoping and defining of requirements, data analysis, user testing and system testing which increased the capacity of the loan assessment team.
Projects
pub+
pub+ is a loyalty platform for ALH Group's hotel and pub venues. As a core contributor across Flutter, .NET/C#, and Azure, I helped scale the app to hundreds of thousands of active users.
(OG) MILKRUN
MILKRUN was a delivery service app which allowed users to order groceries (and more!) for home delivery. The company attracted one of the largest Australian series A investments before being acquired by Woolworths. I joined the original core app team and developed the MILKRUN Flutter app, working cross-functionally with the backend team.
Credit24
Credit24 is a self-service app which allows users to manage their credit limit, draws and payments. I built this app from the ground up with one other developer using Flutter for the front-end.
Side-Projects
BitShift (2026-Present)
A totally custom MMORPG game engine, server and client. I've treated BitShift as an opportunity to learn completely new technologies and paradigms, building everything from scratch in C# with MonoGame and OpenGL. This includes developing my own graphics rendering pipeline, assets, shaders, network protocol, entity component system, and more. The project is still in early development, but there's plenty I could show off if you're interested in seeing a demo.
Mista Reborn (2023-2024)
The premier Oceanic private Tibia server (MMORPG) which I ran from 2023 to 2024. I served as the lead developer and administrator, responsible for all technical aspects of the server. We engaged a passionate community of players, seeing over 100 concurrent users at peak times with a total unique player count exceeding 800.
Let's work together
I'm always open to discussing new opportunities, interesting projects, or ways we can collaborate.
